The Careers Programme for Senior School (Key Stage 3) is delivered through PSHE and through specific careers-related activities.
Students spend time developing their self-awareness, including personal attributes, abilities, interests, potential and limitations.
All Senior School Students can access one-to-one careers interviews with the Head of Careers through a referral from their Head of Year.
A Career Guide to GCSE Options
In Year 9, the programme focuses on students choosing their GCSE options. Students are introduced to new subjects that they may not have studied in previous years, for example Business Studies, and tutors will spend time highlighting the transferable skills that can be gained from subjects and where the subject can lead to.
